NIKI Luftfahrt GmbH

NIKI’s Airbus and Embraer fleet and its list of destinations has been growing steadily ever since the company’s foundation in November 2003. airberlin acquired a 49.9 percent interest in NIKI Luftfahrt GmbH in 2010, making NIKI and airberlin Europe’s first low-cost-airline alliance.

In 2009 NIKI Luftfahrt GmbH was in the black for the sixth year in a row, with profits up 76 percent on 2008.

NIKI Luftfahrt GmbH employs 650 people. In 2010 the airline carried approximately 3.4 million passengers. The NIKI fleet comprises four Airbus A321s (212 seats), ten Airbus A320s (180 seats), and six Embraer E190s (112 seats).
