BUILDING HISTORY
Residence Hirscher was built in 1847 as the "Iordache David House", named after its owner, a prominent, wealthy city merchant. The urban evolution of the city shows that the Apollonia Hirscher Street belongs to the oldest built-up area of the city fortress(citadel).When built, the house was one of the most prominent buildings in Brasov with great facade symmetry, detailed arhitectural elements and exquisite decorative models inspired by the Classicism age. The building eas thoroughly renovated and modernized in 2008.
